The Voice of America’s Doctors

The USMA is the national physician association advancing physician autonomy, protecting the doctor–patient relationship, and supporting the future of healthcare in the United States.

Standing with Physicians

The USMA exists to give physicians a voice. We focus on:

Advocating for physician rights and the doctor–patient relationship

Creating a national network of like-minded physicians

Building programs and resources to support physicians at every stage of their medical career

Physician-Led, Physician-Focused

The USMA is created by physicians, for physicians. We understand the challenges of practicing medicine today because we live them. Our mission is to restore integrity to the medical profession and give doctors the tools and support they need to succeed.

A female healthcare professional, likely a doctor, dressed in a white coat with a stethoscope around her neck, is sitting at a desk and interacting with a patient in an office or clinic setting. There is a human skull model, a computer, a keyboard, a mouse, a printer, and medical charts on the desk. Vertical blinds are in the background.

Guided by Principles

Our work is rooted in our Ten Commandments, which shape every decision we make. These principles protect the doctor–patient relationship, uphold physician autonomy, and guide the future of American medicine.

Advocacy, Community, and Leadership
