The USMA Becomes a Reality

After months of hard work, the foundations of the United States Medical Association have finally been laid allowing the organization to pivot towards expansion and growth.

"The USMA is going to quickly become the organization that will bring smart representation for physicians in the public square," said Dr. Julio Gonzalez, an orthopedic surgeon practicing in Venice, Florida, and founding President of the USMA. "Through the USMA, America's doctors will benefit from discounted continuing medical education products, robust networking opportunities, and access to practice facilitation products designed to take the medical profession to the next level. In short, the USMA will be medicine's new home where physicians may rest assured that they are part of a community dedicated to their wellbeing and to the promotion of their position in public square."

The next few weeks will see a ramp up in the USMA's efforts at informing physicians of our existence, our goals, and our make-up. However, it cannot become a reality without the generous support from those who it aims to represent. At this point, the USMA is encouraging doctors and anyone interested in supporting the medical profession, while strengthening the patient-physician relationship, to please visit the United States Medical Association website and consider making a contribution $500, $1,000, or $5,000 to help build this sorely needed organization.*

Other opportunities such as holding fundraisers throughout the United States or setting up informational sessions to let our colleagues know of our plans and our vision for the future of organized medicine.

For more information regarding event sponsorships or to learn more about other support opportunities, please contact us at info@usmedicalassociation.org or (941) 441-0310.

With your help, the USMA will succeed. All we need to do is share in carrying the load. Won't you please contribute?
